We hope you have enjoyed the long weekend! Thank you for continuing to follow the Covid Alert Level 2 procedures. Last week’s blog post has a brief outline to remind you of what level 2 looks like for our Kākano students.


Raffles

Thank you for your support with the selling of our PTA’s Raffle Books. The books must be returned tomorrow Tuesday sold or unsold.


Swimming

This week Kākano 4 and 5 will be swimming. Children will need to bring their swimming togs and a towel everyday this week.


FYI Early Finish Tues 2nd November

Tuesday 2nd November at 2.30pm, our staff, along with teachers from St Michael’s Rotorua, St Mary’s Putararu and Bishop Edward Gaines in Tokoroa are involved in Titiro Whakamuri kia haere whakamua Professional Development. We will need to finish school at 2.15pm on that Tuesday so I ask that you pick your child up at 2.15pm. If you require after school care you can ring Maryanne Roling from Glenholme Afterschool Care. Working Bee

We intend to have a working bee this weekend, Saturday October 30th. There are a number of jobs that need to be done. I really appreciate the support we get from you, so thank you in anticipation. Children are welcome and we will have a BBQ lunch.


Baptism Programme

At the end of last term, the children took home a notice about the Baptism Programme. This starts next week and there is room for a couple more children. If you are interested then please email the classroom teacher of the office.

Friday: Library, Sausage Sizzle and Juicies for sale (both $1.50)
