Week 4 Term 3

 Wiki Wha - Week 4

Kia Ora Koutou, happy Rātapu (Sunday)

We hope you have been enjoying your weekend and have been enjoying the sunshine when it has decided to pop out from behind the clouds.

School Start Time:

Please remember school starts at 8:45am.  The teachers mark the roll  at this time and if your child is not here at this time they are marked as absent. If they do get dropped off after 8:45am they will need to go to the office to be marked present for the morning.

Keeping Ourselves Safe:

We will be starting our Keeping Ourselves Safe Learning in Kākano this week and for the next few weeks as well. We are very excited to continue and strengthen the childrens’ learning from Harold with the help of our New Zealand Police, keeping ourselves safe programme. If you do have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to email or drop in and chat to one of the teachers in our space.

Assumption of Mary Liturgy

This week we have the Assumption of Mary Liturgy on Thursday at 12:15pm in our school hall. All parents, caregivers and whānau are more than welcome to attend.

PB4L - Parents Chat Night

Thursday 19th August 3:15-4:15 pm and 6:00-7:00 pm

PB4L - Have you ever wondered...

  • What St Mary's does to support wellbeing and good mental health?

  • How St Mary's manages student behaviour?

  • What to do if your child isn’t feeling happy at school?

PB4L is hosting a parent chat night. There are 2 sessions available to make sure that we can involve as many families as possible. Childcare will be provided for those who need it.  Come along and enjoy some light refreshments and good conversation. Grant Gaston, an advisor from the Ministry of Education, will also be there to share ideas and help answer questions.
