THIS TUESDAY

Tuesday 2nd November at 2.30pm, our staff, along with teachers from St Michael’s Rotorua, St Mary’s Putararu and Bishop Edward Gaines in Tokoroa are involved in Titiro Whakamuri kia haere whakamua Professional Development. We will need to finish school at 2.15pm on that Tuesday so I ask that you pick your child up at 2.15pm. If you require after school care you can ring Maryanne Roling from Glenholme Afterschool Care. Raffles

Thank you for your support with the selling of our PTA’s Raffle Books. We still have some outstanding books, can these please be returned tomorrow so the raffle can be drawn. If you have misplaced these can you please let the teacher know


Swimming

Kākano 5 will NOT be swimming this week.


Parish Mass

Kākano 5 will be going to a parish mass this Wednesday at 12:05pm. This will be at our church. Parents and families are welcome to attend. You can meet us over there just before mass starts and sit with us!


Working Bee

We intend to have a working bee this weekend, Saturday November 6th (date was wrong in the last blog notices). A note went home on Friday with a list of jobs, if you are able to help please fill this in and return it to school. Children are welcome and we will have a BBQ lunch.


What is happening this week:

Monday: Normal school day

Tuesday: School finishes at 2:15

Wednesday: Parish Class Mass 12:05

Thursday: Normal school day

Friday: Library, Sausage Sizzle and Juicies for sale (both $1.50)


Just a reminder about our Teachers Only Day on Friday 12th November. There will be no school on this day.
